How Does CBD Effect Your Body?

The research is still coming in, but many agree that Cannabidiol (CBD) can help soothe a variety of ailments in a variety of forms for however you need relief. Researchers concluded, “[CBD] significantly reduced anxiety, cognitive impairment, and discomfort in their speech performance,” whereas the placebo group experienced “higher anxiety, cognitive impairment, [and] discomfort.”

CBD oil can help relieve symptoms of chronic pain. According to Floyds of Leadville, studies show that CBD interacts with both your immune system and your brain receptors. These receptors receive a bunch of chemical signals from stimuli and help the rest of your cells respond to those signals. When your receptors react with CBD, they form anti-inflammatory effects that reduce pain.

In 2017, the 3rd Congress of the European Academy of Neurology reported similar results, reporting that the active compounds in cannabis (THC & CBD) are more effective at reducing the frequency of acute migraine headaches than prescription drugs, and cause fewer side effects. The study found that sufferers of chronic migraines given a 200mg dose of a THC/CBD blend each day for three months experienced 55% less pain.
